Month Two: 12 lb. 7 oz. 23 in. long

Hey Y'all! A little update on us ~ we had Olivia's 2 month old check-up today. Unfortunately, shots come along with that one. The doc said she is doing great though! She has a cold, which she caught from her wonderful day-care, and unfortunately we just have to let it ride out since she is so little. We bought her a humidifier for her room, and we elevated her crib mattress a little with a blanket underneath it. She's not as grumpy as she was when she first got sick, so I think she is starting to feel better and hopefully the mucus is breaking up and going away. Unfortunately, Brandon got sick with it, and then I did. Then our dog, Samson, got the "rea" and literally poo-ed all over our house. This week has been fun! lol

I can't wait until it gets warmer! I want to take Olivia to the Columbia zoo and introduce her to this fun world! :) Having a little girl makes things different. I can't wait to share everything with her. Stuff I was never excited about before, I am excited about now! Come on Summer!

She is changing so much every day. She coo's and laughs and smiles now - all on her own. It's fun seeing her little personality develop. Every morning before day-care, I ask her if she wants to go to school today.. she just smiles from ear to ear. Dropping her off has gotten easier. I think she has a good time there. She watches the other babies and probably dreams about when she can be on the floor and play with them. LOL But right now, she's pretty content in being the observer in the bouncy seat. HEHE!
